"Make Yourself At Home"  (4Mb .mp3 file)

Home is a family here in Orland, Maine
A happy family always the same,
If you come to stay with us you will never feel alone,
Friend come on down and be at home.

Home is a place to hang your hat,
Lumbering and trucking, useful things like that.
We love kids, dogs and cats, yes we do,
That's what makes a house a home, yes friend,
Come on down and be yourself at home.

I've traveled the USA from California to Maine,
Hawaii to Alaska then back home again.
I see God's great beauty everywhere I roam,
But for me there is no place like home.

Home is a place to hang your hat,
Spinning and weaving, useful things like that.
We love kids, dogs and cats, oh yes we do,
That's what makes a house a home, that's right,
Come on down and make yourself at home.

Why not visit us? Come to Orland, Maine,
You are welcome anytime, time and time again.
We are easy to find, just call us on the phone,
We're out on Route One, come on home.

Home is a place to hang  your hat,
Animals and farming, useful things like that.
We love kids, dogs and cats, that's a fact,
That's what makes a house a home, indeed.
Come on down and make yourself at home, hey friend,
Come on down and make yourself at home.
H-O-M-E-

Home is a place to hang your hat,
Being creative, we do arts and crafts.
We love people, friend that's a fact,
So come on down and be yourself at home, today,
Come on down and make yourself at home.
H-O-M-E.

(As Liselotte and Ulla did, and then share it with us)

"h.o.m.e. is a place ..."

(Tune:  "Blue Moon")

1. H.o.m.e. is a place    Where love sets the pace
Where people can meet    And people can eat!

2. We gotta cat    He is laying flat
And do you know what?    He is a puzzle-cat!

3. And we have goats    with very thick coats
Horses and dogs    But we don't have hogs.

4. The he-haw Josie    She is so cozy
She will not yawn    Because she'll go to the barn.

5. And on the hill    We have the Shingle Mill
And don't despaire    We got the Auto Repair!

6. There's lots of shops    With lots of jobs
People hanging around    With coffee cups.

7. We work and work    And work and work
And work and work    And finish with work.
